What is the 100-Night Promise?
It's our guarantee on how the silk is made. Sleep on it. If the silk pills, the seams give, the zip fails, or the colour bleeds within a hundred nights of normal use, we'll replace it. We make one grade — 22 momme, grade 6A mulberry silk — and we stand behind it.

Is it a money-back trial?
No. It's a craftsmanship guarantee, not a trial period. If a piece fails, we replace it. If you've simply changed your mind, that's what our 30-day returns are for.

So what if I just don't like it?
Unused pieces in their original packaging can be returned within 30 days for a refund. Return shipping is yours.

What counts as a fault?
Pilling, seam separation, a failed zip, or colour bleeding under normal use and correct care. In short: anything that means we didn't make it well enough.

What isn't covered?
Damage from misuse or accidents — snags, tears, pet claws, bleach or harsh detergents, hot washing, or tumble drying. Normal, gradual softening isn't a fault; it's silk doing what silk does.

Do I need to have followed the care instructions?
Yes. Machine wash cold on the silk or delicate cycle, hang or lay flat to dry. Care details are on the hangtag and in every order.

Do I need my receipt?
Your order number is enough. We'll find you.

Do I have to send the piece back?
Usually not. A photo is generally all we need. If we do need it back, we'll arrange it — and we'll cover that postage.

How long does a replacement take?
We'll confirm within two working days and ship your replacement in the same colour and size, subject to stock. If it's out of stock, you may choose another colour or take a refund of that item.

Is there a limit?
One replacement per item. The promise covers the piece you bought, not an ongoing exchange.

Does it apply to sets and gifts?
Yes — every piece in a set is covered individually, from the day the order was delivered. If it was a gift, the recipient can claim it with the order number.

Does it apply to sale or gifted items?
Yes. Every Velsa piece carries the promise, however it came to you.

How do I make a claim?
Write to us with your order number and a photo. We'll take it from there — no argument, no hoops.

Mulberry silk is a naturally smooth protein fibre. Its fine filaments create a soft, low-friction surface against your skin and hair. That means three things.

It creates less friction. Unlike many common bedding fabrics, silk allows your skin and hair to move more freely across the surface. This may help reduce overnight creasing, tangling, frizz and breakage.

It manages moisture naturally. Silk can take up and release moisture, helping it feel comfortable against your skin throughout the night.

It is naturally breathable and insulating. That helps silk remain comfortable across seasons—light and breathable in warmer weather, yet gently insulating when it is cooler.

Not all silk feels the same. Velsa uses Grade 6A mulberry silk woven to 22 momme—a dense, substantial weight chosen for its smooth feel and lasting quality.

Silk is more durable than people think — it just doesn't like heat or harsh chemicals.

Wash every 1–2 weeks with normal use. Cared for properly, real silk lasts years.

We accept change-of-mind return requests within 30 days of delivery.

To qualify, the product must be unused, unwashed, in the same condition in which it was received, and returned with its original tags and packaging.

Customers are responsible for change-of-mind return postage. If an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact us with photographs so we can assess the issue separately.

Estimated delivery is 7–15 business days after dispatch.

You will receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships. Delivery estimates may be affected by customs processing, local postal services, public holidays or circumstances outside our control.

We ship to United States, Canada, Australia New Zealand, United Kingdom and Europe.

Orders may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or handling fees charged by the destination country. These charges are not included in our prices and are the recipient’s responsibility.

Standard shipping is US$7.95. Orders of US$60 or more qualify for free standard shipping.

Yes. Our mulberry silk is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified — independently tested to be free from harmful substances and safe for direct skin contact.

That matters here more than most places: this is fabric you press your face into for a third of your life.

We begin preparing orders quickly, so there is only a short opportunity to make changes.

Email hello@velsaliving.com within one hour of ordering, including your order number and requested change. We will do our best to help, but changes and cancellations cannot be guaranteed once fulfilment has begun.

After an order has been dispatched, it cannot be modified or cancelled. If the product remains unused and eligible, you may request a return under our 30-day return policy after delivery.
